Digitize Georgia

I (npo) with the financial support of USAID Zrda Activity Program in Georgia jointly with Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) is implementing the Digitize Georgia program aiming to support tourism development in Georgian regions.

The program has started with Google ToT training which was provided by Google Certified Photographers and Google Certified Educators and now with Certified Digital Volunteers, we are traveling around Georgia to meet local Digital Missioners and share our knowledge about Google digital tools and boost digital skills in the editing of Google Maps, digitizing businesses, creating simple web pages, adding places, working with visualization, and analysis of situations related to tourism.

This is a volunteer program. Digital Volunteers are here to provide training in Google solutions for Tourism Development, to give practical advice, and provide needed assistance to each participant to create new success stories!

Successful trainees will get the honor to become Digital Missioners and digitize local villages / municipalities by adding new places, making need contributions, and providing related support to the local communities.

During the first stage, the program has already covered 17 municipalities: Kaspi, Gori, Kareli, Khashuri, Dusheti, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha, Akhaltsikhe, Ninostminda, Akhalkalaki, Aspindza, Adigeni, Borjomi, Marneuli, Bolnisi, Tsalka, Akhmeta.
